This tour provides an insight into the enormous diversity of National Parks in the region: Open eucalypt forests and huge granite boulders, lush subtropical rainforest in Dorrigo National Park, steep cliffs high above wild river valleys and the untouched wilderness of rugged New England National Park invite you to spend some time.

Watch the rich birdlife in its various habitats. With some luck, you may observe endangered and incredibly agile Rock-wallabies. This region is one of the world's declared biodiversity hotspots, one of only two in all of Australia, yet largely undiscovered by the tourism industry. Numerous waterfalls and cascading pristine creeks invite a refreshing dip in summer.

Accommodation is in exclusively rented National Park cabins within New England National Park and in the comfortable Mount Hyland Forest Lodge surrounded by forest. All walks are on good tracks and are graded easy.
